The Bookman Cat
I've been doing some more work for The Bookman, this time a calendar featuring the store cat Nietzsche. Nietzsche is the perfect cat; he loves pets, taking rides on the book carts, and just laying around getting in the way of customers (in a good way). It takes a special breed to be the best bookstore cat in Canada. I wish my cat was more layed back like him.

Long overdue...
It's been forever since I've posted. Between moving and looking for a new job my illustration work has suffered. The most recent pieces I've done are a series of bookmarks for The Bookman in Chilliwack, coming soon to a used classic near you.

Slimer Recycles! And so should you.
I love wandering through the streets and finding little gems like this scattered throughout the city. Anyone who is against graffiti and sticker culture has probably never come across something like this and had a flashback to the good times of their youth. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to put a little fun into Vancouver.

A creative week so far
So the last week has been my first on a new job. It's been great, I needed to photograph the first in a series of items for info packets on composting and everywhere I went to get supplies the people were so friendly and helpful. And the photos are coming out great, never has composting looked so beautiful. But I can't post them here, you will have to check out the upcoming pamphlets on composting in Vancouver from Metro Vancouver to see the work.
In the mean time enjoy another photo from my adventures with my new camera.
